Ali Murch

Ali graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of South Australia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy). Ali is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA, is endorsed by the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health scheme and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Ali has a passion for working with and empowering families, supporting children's mental health and increasing their capacity to engage meaningfully within their communities. She is a strong advocate for using trauma informed care and supporting client led functional goals.

Since graduating Ali has worked in various paediatric and project roles within regional South Australia. During this time she has continued to enjoy providing support, mentorship and supervision to occupational therapists, work experience students and university students.

Ali began Ali Murch OT in 2014 with the vision of providing a quality occupational therapy service to local families. Over time Ali has gradually grown her service to be able to offer services to a larger number of families whilst supporting new graduates to develop their skills as occupational therapists.

When Ali is not working, you will find her with her family, swimming, painting, gardening or surfing.

Emily Hoff

Senior Occupational Therapist

Emily graduated as an Occupational Therapist from the University of South Australia at the end of 2017. Emily is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA, is endorsed by the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health scheme and is a member of the Occupational Therapy Association of Australia.

Since graduating, Emily has worked at Ali Murch OT in a clinical role, as well as providing supervision and support for staff and University students. She has completed trainings in DIR-Floortime, SleepWise and Rhythm & Movement for Self-Regulation (RAMSR).

During her studies, Emily developed an interest in supporting children to reach their full potential. Emily is passionate about neurodiversity affirming practice, trauma informed care and supporting children of all ages with achieving their goals. Her creative flair and strong work ethic are an asset to the Ali Murch team.

Emily’s favourite thing about working at Ali Murch OT is working with a wide variety of families and children on many different goals, as well as Friday treats with the team.

When Emily is not at work, you will find her op shopping, sewing, baking, or playing with her dog, Charlie.

Carrie Mansfield

Occupational Therapist

Carrie is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and is a member of the Occupational Therapy Association of Australia. She graduated in 2020 from the University of South Australia. Carrie is currently working towards accreditation to be able to provide services under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health scheme.

Carrie is passionate about working with children and before graduating worked in roles including child care, OSHC and disability support. This together with Carrie’s family’s lived experience of disability led her down an OT path and has prompted her to complete further trainings, with topics including emotional regulation, Autism, PDA, rhythm and movement for self-regulation and more. Carrie has a calming presence and a skill for building wonderful relationships with her clients.

Carrie’s favourite things about working at Ali Murch OT is seeing clients reach their goals as well as the close-knit team and supportive workplace.

On her days off, you’ll find Carrie out walking, baking and decorating delicious cakes, reading, or spending time with her friends, family and church community.

Jemma Linke

Allied Health Assistant

Jemma joined the team in 2021 and has since been inspired to study for a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at University of South Australia.

Jemma has a background in working with children of a variety of ages. She works in collaboration with our OT’s to provide sessions that focus on gross and fine motor skills and providing support to parents. You will also find her smiling face and bubbly personality on the front desk and assisting with administration tasks.

Jemma’s favourite thing about working at Ali Murch OT is working with the children and OTs to learn new skills and developing creative therapy activities to incorporate into sessions.

Outside work hours she can be found studying, playing netball, reading and seeing her friends & family.

Amy Hull

Administration Assistant

Amy joined the team in 2018. She has previously worked as an SSO (student support) in schools and comes from a background in travel/hospitality. She brings her organisation skills to ensure the clinic is running smoothly and efficiently. As well as scheduling clients appointments, she’s the person to see for a sticker at the end of your session.

Amy enjoys having a chat with the families in the clinic and puzzle time with her work mates during lunch breaks.

Outside of work Amy enjoys reading, going for a bushwalk, sharing a meal with friends and is more than likely planning her family’s next holiday.
